DJ SET!

→ Låpsley (HER OWN RECORDINGS)
Låpsley saw a rapid rise to fame as a teenager, with debut album Long Way Home producing instant-classics in the likes of ‘Hurt Me’ and ‘Operator’. Its followup, Through Water, marked Låpsley’s shift towards a more confident, conscious artist: despite dropping days before the UK’s first lockdown, it proudly asserted Holly’s queer identity and won an award for its engagement with climate issues. In 2023 Låpsley returned with third album Cautionary Tales of Youth.
At 27 years old, today Låpsley is an artist determined to use her platform to make a difference. Outspoken on topics ranging from politics and the queer kink scene to mental health, sustainability, and a decade of music industry chaos, she approaches her craft and her culture with unusual clarity.

→ THE BARRATTS (EIGHT LIMB ENTERTAINMENT)
The Barratts 4 members, James Faulkner, Kyle Homer, Brandon Essom and Evan Bridgstock have been a staple of the burgeoning Northampton Music scene for some time but have also appeared with the likes of Alan MaGee (Creation Records) ,  Shaun Rider (Happy Mondays) and on previous Q&A tours, as well as regularly playing dates in London and the rest of the UK including on billings with the likes of Hotel Lux, The Clause and Trampoline.
With regard to the music they make, possibly not since the likes of Jarvis Cocker and Pulp, have tracks been penned that have included so well observed one liners that make you smile at the humour but also cut to the core of a more deeply observed meaning.  For instance, the pointed ‘Replica of a Working Town’ or ‘Vegans in Furs’ the latter within the track entitled ‘Spanish Influencer’.
