For their third London Christmas event Independent Label Market teamed up with a like-minded coalition called London Brewers’ Market for a day of music, local beer and fun before the Christmas holidays. Again supported by Association of Independent Music there were over 100 of the UK’s best independent record labels represented in the stalls of Old Spitalfields, and also a fine selection of London brewers selling everything from pilsners to porters in cask, keg and in bottle.
The likes of Camden Town Brewery, The Five Points Brewing Company and Signature Brew were featured among many other fine London breweries old and new.
The music + beer combination proved a hit (who’d have thought!?), and Spitalfields was besieged by thirsty vinyl lovers from all over the capital.
Otherhighlights included Omar Souleyman gold cassettes, Erol Alkan’s Tame Impala remix, and an exclusive East India Youth 10″.
